It takes a lot of courage to release the familiar and seemingly secure, to embrace the new.
But there is no real security in what is no longer meaningful.
There is more security in the adventurous and exciting, for in movement there is life, and in change there is power.
Alan Cohen
"Outside of a dog, a book is a man's best friend.
Inside of a dog, it's too dark to read."
Groucho Marx

Primavera

Today is the First Day of Spring... Primavera.
Everyone went to the park with bottles of wine and had picnics and listened to music , kissed, played music, played football and kissed each other ... a lot ... for hours... the kissing, not the football .
I have no idea how many people were in the parks, it seemed as if all of Buenos Aires was there. It was just a bit chilly ..
This is the market where we do our shopping when only a Supermercado will do.
Not  just for wine but everything .. they sell televisions, garden furniture, bedding, dishes and groceries and upstairs there is this huge wine department as well as a small imported foods area ( lately there has been nada for me) and a bakery. They will make the pie crust for me if I want to make "home-made " pizza, which would only be half- home made since I will only be throwing cheese around.. I don't mind half- home made pizza, do you?
We went to our little cafe, where I was reduced to giggles over this poor Pup .. really .. who would not laugh?
I can't hear you!
Pup was probably horrified, he refused to look at the poor thing. He probably   thought that  whatever that dog did, he  didn't want to do it, if this is what happens to you ..
Where am I ?
I was very sly with the camera , so he would not be embarrassed even more.
help~
As we walked home, we saw this sight which was really sweet. And they matched !
We spent the afternoon hanging pictures and my husband gave the new drill a work-out.. which might also be construed as the drill gave my husband a work-out. He had to push awfully hard to get the thing to drill.
These walls are brick, then plaster then more plaster .. red dust comes out eventually, they are very very thick. Of course, you don't want to make mistakes. We did not make an actual mistake but after hanging a picture, we agreed that it looked better in the original room, so now there is a hole in the wall that has to be repaired. I miss those days of hammering a nail in a sheet rock wall and being done with it.
Some things are too complicated here..
Happy Primavera and Happy Autumn
