It takes a lot of courage to release the familiar and seemingly secure, to embrace the new.
But there is no real security in what is no longer meaningful.
There is more security in the adventurous and exciting, for in movement there is life, and in change there is power.

Inside of a dog, it's too dark to read."

Parks, Pups, Trees

Today was one of those beautiful, sparkling, perfect temperature days. We were eager to get outside and do something, anything to be out in the fresh air. One of us was thrilled to be able to just sit on a bench and not feel sick or cough.
One of us decided to hide from any cameras until tomorrow when the groomer makes the boy look presentable again. Personally... I love the way he feels. Like a huge stuffed toy, soft and wooly and he smells good. Warm and cushy, it is impossible to be near him and not find yourself petting, stroking, patting all that softness. I think he likes it too.
We wandered through the park, ending up at a cafe where coffee and dulce de leche ice cream was the afternoon pick-me-up then wandered on over to another park.
Where the trees look more like creatures from another time than just trees.
Tomorrow, Pup goes to the Groomer.... to be continued.

  1. I am sure he will appreciate being "thinned" out a bit, but he does look perfectly adorable as is.

  2. Thank you ! I will tell him you said so. I think a nice light haircut will perk him up.. he is carrying around way too much weight in hair :)
