Our home in Buenos Aires.
Formerly a private family home, converted years ago into apartments..
2 apartments to a floor, from front to back. Walled gardens in the back.. my view from our bedroom was the garden , a large tree and the sounds were doves and birds.
I wish I were there right now.
It takes a lot of courage to release the familiar and seemingly secure, to embrace the new.
But there is no real security in what is no longer meaningful.
There is more security in the adventurous and exciting, for in movement there is life, and in change there is power.

Inside of a dog, it's too dark to read."

Hello Candice:
ReplyDeleteSo very similar to our building here in Budapest although ours was always designed as a series of apartments many of which were partitioned during the Communist period. Happily ours escaped although before we bought it it had been in multiple occupancy.
The garden at the back upon which your bedroom looked sounds lovely.
What a pad! I hope you find serenity where you live now and acceptance for where you are in life now. Good luck
